The best ellipticals are developed with the user's comfort in mind, and that's no different with the Sole E35. This elliptical challenges users with a multitude of different settings while keeping them comfortable at all times.
Fluid natural motion provided by a whisper quiet drive system. Functions in both forward and reverse motion. The combination of a heavy 12 kg flywheel and a high gear ratio not found on comparable models means an extremely smooth feel with plenty of resistance at the top end for a machine that will provide a challenging workout.
Includes a 7.5” display console with a white back lit LCD display. Includes a built-in cooling fan and water bottle holder.
The E35 also has a power incline feature which offers additional resistance as well as variable positions for diversity in your workout at the touch of a button. The ramp angle is fully adjustable from 0 to 20 different incline levels, allowing you to individually target and work all major lower body muscle groups.
Stationary handle bars with built-in pulse sensors for monitoring your heart rate. A heart rate chest strap is also included for hands free pulse monitoring and heart rate interactive programs.
Oversize foot pedals for a comfortable workout. These unique foot pedals were designed in collaboration with a leading physical therapist and sports enthusiast. Sole engineers have designed in a 2 degree inward slope to the foot pedals which reduce ankle and knee stress that is common in other elliptical machines. The foot beds are also adjustable for customized comfort.
The four rear wheels which ride on heavy duty rails provide a smoother more stable feel and reduce side to side foot pedal motion, a feature found only on more expensive models.
Easy to use electronic console with vibrant display. Includes a built-in cooling fan and water bottle holder. The console also has the following built in features:
Bluetooth Technology– Sole now allows users the freedom to transfer workout data via Bluetooth, from their Sole fitness equipment to their smart device. Users can download and track their info on the Sole app for free, or have their fitness data be transferred to any of the following fitness apps (Fitbit, Record, Mapmyrun, Apple Health).
Custom Designed Foot Pedals - These unique foot pedals were developed in collaboration with a leading physical therapist. Together with SOLE engineers we designed a 2 degree inward slope to the foot pedals which reduce ankle and knee stress common in other Light Commercial elliptical machines.
Articulating/Adjustable Foot Pedals - Not everyone walks the same; for this reason we have made the pedals articulating/adjustable to fit the way you walk. The E35, E55 and E95 all include foot pedals that have level adjustment features to them, which helps to reduce the numb toe effects and sore Achilles tendons helping users to focus less on being uncomfortable and more focused on achieving goals.
Power Incline - This feature separates SOLE from the rest of the market. It creates a completely different workout that targets areas of the lower body that normally would not be worked out on an elliptical without Power Incline.
Strong Frame - The SOLE Elliptical uses heavy thick steel that’s designed to support high user weight capacities. The frame also includes multi-position handgrips, to help provide workout variance.
We are very happy with our purchase. This elliptical acts like one that you would find at the gym. It's very quiet and I love that it has the incline feature. My husband and I have used it every day since we've gotten it with no problems. The only cons (which are very small,)are that the speakers are not good, the fan is very weak, and I don't think that you would actually put your water bottle in the compartment that is meant for water bottles, keys etc... Due to its odd shape and placement. (Does work well for a couple tv remotes though ) That being said, that's not why I bought this elliptical. I bought it to help me work out at home, which it does fabulously. I would recommend this product to others.
Two things you should know about me: 1. I'm sensitive to excise machine noises why working out. 2. I'm a big guy 6' 2" 230lbs with nice strong legs. That being said the two biggest factors for me were "does the flywheel provide enough resistance" and "will this thing ding and snap on every rotation".
The good news is that if built correctly this treadmill is the smoothest and quietest workout machine I have every stepped on and I have been on many. It's kind of crazy how smooth the glide motion is even when inclined. The other good news is that the flywheel is resistant enough to get me sweating within the first 3-5 minutes. This is important to note and I might even go as far to say that the next model down would have likely been challenging enough for my workout which is a 30 min cardio with constant resistance and varying incline.
It took about an hour to build and is useable with a 10ft ceiling but I wouldn't recommend any shorter than that. My head gets fairly close if I raise my feet from the pedals. I hope this was helpful.

Stop shopping, looking at reviews and buy this elliptical!!! The only thing that I did not like about it is how long it took to put together. Kind of challenging. BUT ... once I got it together it has been AMAZING!!! Well worth every penny! The only thing you need to do is make sure that the rails that the wheels roll on are clean. Great flow, great programs, even 2 personal programs you can set for your own way of exercising. Just as good as any club elliptical!! Never any noises or knocks or, or, or .... The only sound I ever hear is when the level is at it's lowest, but once I bump it up a couple steps it goes away.
I am a 44-year-old man weighing in at 225 pounds and have never had any problems with it struggling to hold me, VERY SOLID. I have had it three years and it works just as well as when I bought it! Just buy it! It is a little pricey, but did I say WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!
Not enough resistance for a male, maybe for someone who is out of shape. You can barely feel the fan, and the speaker "system" isnt very loud at all, might as well use your phone speaker. The support bars on the floor should be wider, because if you try to go faster to compensate for the lack of resistance, then it isnt very stable. Overall, im still satisfied.
Very heavy to move, a bit hard to assemble. A small piece fell inside the metal frame and had to be fished out with magnet. The program menu is awkward to understand. It is very sturdy, and the motorized incline multiplies the levels of difficulty to enhance your workout. The chest strap, -for heart rate monitoring- feels funny around your chest, but after a while you get used to it. It has to be somewhat tight to prevent sliding off your chest. If machine is used regularly, it is a very good addition to your fitness goals.
For the price the E35 is not too far off the performance of club elliptical. The stride is smoothly fluid, and my knees do not hurt after using the machine for two months, five days per week (which to me is a solid indicator of the well done med/ergo testing Sole has done in designing their ellipticals). Well made, and sturdy feeling - you will definitely need a hand moving the box unless you are Mr. Universe since it is quite heavy due to he elliptical's high quality construction.
