If you train strength at home and want one frame that covers pulls, presses and curls, the Cortex GS7 runs 60+ exercise variations across six stations with a 73.5 kg stack (or 96.5 kg if you go heavier). Its 16-gauge steel frame and 2000 lb aircraft cables handle users up to 200 kg.
It suits a lifter who wants a full upper and lower body setup in one footprint, with an angle-adjustable arm station, height-adjustable seat and an integrated power tower for dips and chin-ups. The plate-loaded squat and shoulder press station adds real lower-body loading beyond the stack.
What stands out is the plate-loaded squat and shoulder press station bolted onto a stack machine. That gives you plate-loaded leg work (the squat section is rated to a 100 kg max load) alongside the 73.5kg or 96.5kg stack.
With a 211 x 261.6 cm footprint it eats floor space, so measure before you commit. With 60-plus variations and 2000 lb cables, this is where it earns its keep.

The GS7 bundles six separate workout stations into one footprint, so you can train every major muscle group without swapping machines or rearranging the room.
Lat pulldown, chest press and fly, preacher curl, leg extension, power tower and a squat/shoulder press station all sit on the one frame.
What this means for you: One machine covers push, pull, legs and core, so a full programme runs from a single corner of the garage.
The combined chest press and fly station uses angle-adjustable arms, so you can shift the line of pull to hit the chest from different angles.
That means pressing movements and fly movements both come off the same station without changing seats or stacking plates.
What this means for you: Adjusting the arm angle changes which part of the chest does the work, so one station covers several pressing and fly variations.
The built-in power tower adds pull-ups, dips and knee or leg raises to the machine, so you get bodyweight strength work alongside the cable stations.
These are the movements a selectorised gym usually can't give you, and here they're part of the same frame.
What this means for you: You can finish a cable session with bodyweight pulls and dips without buying a separate tower.
The GS7 handles legs two ways: a leg extension on the weight stack and a plate-loaded squat and shoulder press station, so lower-body work isn't an afterthought.
The squat and shoulder press station takes weight plates, which aren't included, so you load it to match your own strength.
What this means for you: Loading your own plates lets you build the squat and press up to the station's 100 kg maximum as you get stronger.
A dedicated preacher curl pad isolates the biceps by bracing the upper arm, so the curl comes from the muscle rather than swinging the body.
The pad is height-adjustable, so taller and shorter users can set the arm position that keeps the movement strict.
What this means for you: Bracing the arm takes the shoulders and back out of the lift, so the biceps do the work on every rep.
Several contact points adjust, so the GS7 fits different heights and lets more than one person in the house train on it.
The seat height, preacher pad height, arm station angle and foot plate all move to suit the user.
What this means for you: A quick seat and arm adjustment means one machine works for the whole household rather than one body type.
The selectorised stack comes as 73.5kg standard, with a 96.5kg option for lifters who'll outgrow the lighter load on pulls and presses.
The cables are 2000 lb tensile strength aircraft cable, so the stack moves on hardware built for repeated heavy work.
What this means for you: Start with 73.5kg and step up to 96.5kg if your lat pulldown and chest press start topping out the stack.
Across the six stations the GS7 covers 60+ exercise variations, which is enough to run a full push, pull and legs split at home.
Lat pulldowns and rows for the back, press and fly for the chest, preacher curls for arms, leg extensions and plate-loaded leg work for the lower body, plus pull-ups and dips off the tower.
What this means for you: The variety means you can keep progressing for years without needing a second strength machine.
The frame is 16-gauge (1.5mm) steel in 70mm x 50mm tubing with a powder-coated finish, so it holds up to daily loading.
The moving parts run on 2000 lb tensile strength aircraft cables, the hardware that takes the real wear on a cable gym.
What this means for you: A heavy machine on 16-gauge steel stays put under load, so the stack moves and the frame doesn't.

Effort: 13 assembly steps in the manual, which recommends more than two people. Tools: a spanner / wrench (bolts and fixings are included).
It ships as boxed freight with a gross weight of 214 kg (240 kg with the 96.5 kg stack). Have a second person and a trolley ready to move it into the room where you'll build it. We stay across the freight so you're not chasing the courier yourself.
Take photos before you start assembling and send them to support@cardioonline.com.au within 48 hours of delivery. We'll lodge the freight claim, organise replacement parts or a full unit, and stay on it until you're set up. You don't deal with the courier or the manufacturer directly; that's our job.
The manual runs to 13 assembly steps and recommends more than two people. All you'll need is a spanner or wrench, and the bolts and fixings are included. Clear the full footprint before you start, because you'll be building it in place rather than sliding a finished machine across the room.
The assembled footprint is 211 cm by 261.6 cm, so give it a dedicated corner with room to stand and work the power tower. At 231 cm tall it clears a standard 240 cm Australian ceiling with a little to spare. Confirm the space is permanent before you build, because this isn't a unit you'll want to shift often.
It supports users up to 200 kg and runs six stations plus 60+ exercise variations, so it works for beginners through to experienced lifters wanting one machine for full-body training. The guided cable stations build confidence for newer trainers, while the integrated power tower and squat press give stronger lifters room to progress.
Go with the 73.5 kg stack if you're building a base or train mostly for general strength and conditioning. Pick the 96.5 kg stack if you're already pulling heavy on lat pulldowns and chest press and want headroom to keep progressing. If you start on 73.5 kg, a 23 kg stack upgrade takes it to 96.5 kg later, so you can start lighter and add weight when you need it.
Yes. The squat and shoulder press station is plate-loaded and plates aren't included, so you'll need your own weight plates to use it. The cable stations, including the leg extension, run off the selected 73.5 kg or 96.5 kg stack, so only the squat and shoulder press work relies on plates. Factor that in if you don't already have a set at home.
