I am in my late 60s and wanted a rowing machine to improve fitness. I was originally looking at a Concept 2 rowing machine which is a top choice, but decided it was too big, expensive and potentially noisy because it uses wind resistance. I instead decided to get the Everfit Magnetic Resistance Rowing Machine, which takes up less space and is a whole lot cheaper. It has a 5kg magnetic flywheel that is the recommended size, and gives enough resistance.
The service and Cardio price was excellent, and it arrived quickly with Toll – a good shipping company. It all went together easily. I would also suggest keeping the numbered parts and screws on their packaging, and taking them out as needed when following the instructions. I would use your own spanners when needed, as the ones supplied can bite into your hands. Screws and nuts can be tight to do up.
It is still early days for me, and I have watched some videos on the correct rowing stroke and sequence, but I am sure this machine will be just what I need.

Assembly was basically pretty easy and straight forward.
I am 71 years old and purchased the machine with a view to increasing my general fitness. I have only been using it for approximately a week, but look forward to seeing the results after a few months
Hi Tristram sorry for the late response however the rower arrived only the day before we left on a month's holiday, however the rower is up and running. I am very happy with the whole exercise, the unit arrived within the time frame, it was easy to assemble and I am very pleased with the operation. The only condition we have is that it must be in it's original packaging and unopened.
In order to return an item under this policy, you must contact us in advance, and provide clear photo evidence that the item is unopened.
If the criteria have been met, our team will send you a tracking label which you must print and attach securely to the box (removing the previous labels).
Once the item has been received, we will inspect to confirm the item is unopened and process your refund.
All our products are covered by manufacturer and supplier warranties under Australian consumer law.
In the rare case that a product is found to be defective or is damaged in transit, contact us immediately and we'll work on your behalf to arrange a solution with the supplier.
Depending on the nature of the issue, the supplier will may offer to ship you a replacement part, or a full replacement item, at no cost to you. This decision is at the sole discretion of the supplier.
If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, the supplier will arrange to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time.
Please note that once the warranty process has started, our policy is to wait until for a response/action from the supplier before proceeding further.
