If you want a full strength setup in one footprint, the CORTEX SM-20 combines a Smith machine, power rack and adjustable cable station with a 45 kg pin-loaded stack you can expand to 100 kg with plates. The 16-gauge steel frame holds up to 200 kg on the pull-up bar and safety spotters, so it handles heavy compound work from day one.
It suits a home lifter who trains alone and wants both guided and free-weight options, with 10 height positions on the J-hooks, spotters and Smith bar to dial in squats, presses and rows. The included landmine attachment, dip handles, lat pulldown bar and pulley handles mean you can run a complete session without buying extra gear.
What jumps out is the 2:1 cable ratio paired with 10-position J-hooks and spotters: you can run heavy Smith work, then switch to smooth cable movements without resetting your whole station.
The 45kg stack is light for strong pullers, though it expands to 100kg with plates. At 181kg built, confirm the floor space is permanent, because this isn't something you'll shuffle around.

This single frame combines a Smith machine, power rack, adjustable cable pulleys and a multi-grip chin-up bar, so one footprint covers squats, presses, pulls and cable work.
For a home gym where floor space is limited, that consolidation does the heavy lifting of several separate machines.
What this means for you: One frame handles your full-body routine without buying and fitting out four separate machines.
The frame is built from 16-gauge 1.5mm steel with a powder-coated finish that resists scuffs and chips during loading.
At 181 kg net weight, the whole unit stays planted when you load it up.
What this means for you: The gauge steel and the load ratings mean it grows with the lifter rather than topping out early.
The Smith station runs a 203 cm guided barbell on 50mm Olympic sleeves, with 10 height positions to set the start and catch points.
The guided path is useful for solo accessory work when there is nobody to spot you.
What this means for you: The Smith bar guides the path for solo pressing and squatting; the free-weight rack is there when you want full range work.
Heavy-duty cables run adjustable pulleys at a 2:1 ratio for presses, rows, lat work and cable flyes, with the control cable rated to a 100 kg max load.
A 45 kg pin-loaded stack ships as standard and expands to 100 kg once you add plates.
What this means for you: Pin-loaded means you change resistance in seconds between sets; the plate-expansion path keeps it useful as you get stronger.
Two 350 mm safety spotter arms and two J-hooks move across 10 height positions, so you can set catch bars at the right point for squats and presses.
That matters most when you train alone and push close to failure.
What this means for you: Set the spotters a notch below your sticking point and you can train heavy solo with a backstop.
The rack arrives with a wide attachment set, so you can start a broad range of movements without buying extras.
Removable dip handles rated to 120 kg add a bodyweight station to the frame.
What this means for you: The included attachments cover dips, landmine presses, rows and lat pulldowns from day one.
The rack accepts 7ft Olympic or standard barbells and includes an upright holder for 50mm Olympic bars.
Four weight pegs keep your 50mm Olympic plates on the frame and within reach.
What this means for you: Plates live on the frame, so changing loads between free-weight and Smith work stays quick and tidy.
The SM-20 comes with a 12-month parts replacement warranty, handled locally so you deal with us.
On a 181 kg strength station, knowing parts are covered takes the guesswork out of the purchase.
What this means for you: If a component needs replacing in the first year, we sort it for you.

Effort: a two-person job, 7 assembly steps in the manual. Tools: a spanner and an Allen (hex) key (bolts and fixings are included).
It ships broken down across five heavy cartons (192 kg gross) on a freight service. Plan for someone to help move the cartons inside before you start building. We keep you across tracking from dispatch to delivery, so you'll know roughly when it lands rather than waiting on a surprise knock.
Take photos before you start assembly and email them to support@cardioonline.com.au within 48 hours of delivery. We lodge the freight claim, arrange replacement parts or a full unit, and stay on it until you're building. You never deal with the courier or manufacturer directly, that's our job to sort.
Set aside a proper block of time. The manual runs 7 assembly steps and recommends two or more people, mostly because the steel sections are heavy and awkward to hold square while you bolt them. You'll need a spanner and an Allen (hex) key; all bolts and fixings are included. The cable routing is the fiddly bit, so take your time there.
A 2:1 ratio means the handle moves twice as far but you feel roughly half the stack weight. The published unilateral ratio is 0.46, so the full 45 kg stack feels more like 21 kg at one handle, with longer, smoother cable travel. It suits higher-rep cable work, flyes and face pulls well. If you want more load later, the stack expands to 100 kg with added plates.
Assembled, it measures 203 cm long, 170.4 cm wide and 211 cm tall, so it clears a standard 2.4 m ceiling; leave headroom above the chin-up bar. Give yourself room around all four sides: space to rack a 7ft Olympic bar, step back for cable rows, and swing up to the multi-grip chin-up bar overhead.
It's a genuine all-in-one for a home lifter who wants the power rack, Smith machine and cables in one footprint. The pull-up bar and safety spotters are rated to 200 kg, J-hooks to 180 kg, and the Smith bar to 150 kg. Strong enough to grow with most lifters, from first squats to heavier training.
Yes. The 45 kg pin-loaded stack expands to 100 kg with additional plates, and there are 4 pegs for storing Olympic plates on the frame. It arrives loaded with attachments too: J-hooks, spotter arms, dip handles, a landmine, straight bar, lat pulldown bar and pulley handles. So most buyers won't need extras for a long while.
