If you want a complete strength setup at home without filling the room with separate machines, the SS4 brings a lat pulldown, chest press, cable crossover, leg press, preacher curl and a full power tower into one frame. With this configuration you also get the integrated Power Tower and a 73.5kg weight stack.

The trade-off to know up front: this is a tall, large-footprint machine. It needs roughly 1.98m by 1.53m of floor and a ceiling around 2.3m, so measure your space before you order.

Is this Multi-Gym right for you?

This Multi-Gym is right for you if:

  • You want one machine that covers pulldowns, presses, rows, flys, curls and leg work at home
  • You have a garage or gym room with about 2m by 1.6m of floor and a 2.3m ceiling
  • You want built-in bodyweight training (pull-ups, dips, knee raises) from the Power Tower
  • You want a modular frame you can expand later rather than replace

Look at another option if:

  • You have a low ceiling under 2.3m or a tight footprint, where a compact functional trainer suits better
  • You only want free weights and a rack, in which case our power rack range is a better fit
  • You need a stack heavier than 73.5kg for advanced isolation work without upgrading

Adela's Take

What sells me on the SS4 is the three pulley heights. Most home cable setups fix you to one or two, so you end up improvising rows and face pulls at the wrong angle. High, medium and low is where the variety actually comes from.

It wants its own space though: close to two metres square with a 2.3m ceiling, so it is a dedicated-corner machine, not something you tuck away between sessions.

Multi-Station Versatility

Nine training stations on one frame let you move from pulldowns to presses to rows without changing machines.

  • Stations: power tower, lat pulldown, chest press and flys, preacher pad, cable crossover, leg press and leg extension
  • 3 pulley positions for high, medium and low angles
  • Supports beginners through to advanced lifters

What this means for you: One frame replaces several separate machines, so a full session stays in one spot.

48+ Exercises

The SS4 covers more than 48 strength and functional movements across upper body, lower body and core.

  • Upper body: pulldowns, presses, flys, rows, curls and tricep work
  • Lower body: leg press and leg extension
  • Includes a printed diagram chart for exercise guidance

What this means for you: You can train your whole body for years without running out of movements.

Modular Gym Platform

The modular frame is built to grow. Start with the base setup and add a power tower, chest or squat station, or an expanded weight stack later.

  • Add stations and attachments over time
  • Expandable weight stack option
  • Common frame across the SS4 platform

What this means for you: You can spread the investment over time instead of buying a bigger machine later.

Advanced Leg Press Attachment

The leg press attachment has a pivoting foot plate and an extendable shaft to suit different heights and pressing angles.

  • Pivoting foot plate
  • Extendable shaft for different leg lengths
  • Adds compound lower-body work to the stack

What this means for you: You can train legs properly on the same machine, with a comfortable position for your height.

Excellent Ergonomics to Suit All Users

Height-adjustable seat and preacher pad, plus extra clearance between the upper pulley and seat, make the SS4 comfortable across a range of body sizes.

  • Height-adjustable seat and preacher pad
  • Extra clearance for lat pulldowns
  • Convenient on-frame storage for the preacher pad and leg press plate

What this means for you: Most household members can set a comfortable, repeatable position quickly.

Heavy-Duty Frame

The high-quality steel frame has a powder-coated finish to resist wear and corrosion through years of training.

  • Heavy-duty steel construction
  • Powder-coated finish
  • Rated to a 200kg maximum user weight

What this means for you: It stays stable and looks tidy in a home setting over the long term.

The integrated Power Tower adds classic bodyweight training: dips, pull-ups, chin-ups, knee raises and core work.

  • Dips, pull-ups, chin-ups and knee raises
  • Cushioned pads fold up for extra space
  • Built into the SS4 frame, no separate station needed

What this means for you: Bodyweight strength is built in, saving both money and floor space.

What's in the Box & Setup

Effort: a two-person job, around 45 to 60 minutes or more for a first build. Tools: a spanner or wrench (bolts and fixings are included).

What arrives

  • SS4 frame components, uprights and cross members
  • 73.5kg weight stack assembly (two stack cartons)
  • Power Tower station components
  • Attachment set, fixings and user manual

Setup reality

  1. Arrives across four cartons, with the two heaviest cartons around 46kg each, so have a second person ready
  2. Assembly runs to about 10 steps and takes most people 45 to 60 minutes or more
  3. Bring all cartons inside before unpacking, as the weight stack cartons are heavy to move
  4. No power required, the SS4 is fully mechanical

Frequently Asked Questions

How much floor space and ceiling height do I need?

Plan for roughly 197.6cm by 152.7cm of floor for the single station, plus clearance to use the cables and Power Tower. The frame stands 226.9cm tall, so a ceiling of about 2.3m or higher is ideal. Measure to the lowest point above where it will stand before ordering.

Is the 73.5kg stack enough?

For most home trainers, yes. The 73.5kg selectorised stack covers pulldowns, presses, rows, flys and curls comfortably through the 3 pulley positions. Very strong lifters chasing heavy isolation may want to add the expanded stack option later, which the modular frame supports.

How loud is it to use?

Very quiet. The SS4 is a pin-loaded cable machine, so the main sound is the plates settling at the bottom of each rep. There is no motor and no impact, which makes it well suited to shared homes and evening sessions.

Will it be too heavy for an upstairs room or apartment floor?

At a 182kg gross weight spread across a large base, the load per point is modest. Most ground-floor and slab floors handle it easily. For a timber upstairs floor, check the span and joist direction, and place it near a load-bearing wall if you can.

How hard is it to assemble?

Plan for a two-person build of around 45 to 60 minutes or more across roughly 10 steps. All bolts and fixings are included and you only need a spanner or wrench. The heaviest cartons are about 46kg, which is the main reason a second pair of hands matters.

Can two people move it once it is built?

Only short distances, and carefully. At 182kg it is not a casual move once assembled, so decide where it will live before you build it. Use furniture sliders on hard floors if you need to reposition it.

Can I expand it later?

Yes. The modular frame is designed for it. You can add stations, attachments or an expanded weight stack over time rather than replacing the machine, which is a sensible way to start now and grow later.

Does it need power or an app?

No. The SS4 is fully mechanical, so there is nothing to plug in, charge or connect. You select your weight with the pin and train.
