If you're kitting out a garage gym or a PT studio and want flooring that stands up to dumbbells, racks and loaded barbells, this pack of 16 tiles lays down 16 m² of 15mm commercial rubber. Each 1m x 1m tile weighs about 14 kg, so it stays put under heavy lifting instead of shifting around.
It suits anyone fitting out both indoor and outdoor training spaces, since the recycled rubber is suitable for either. The bevelled edges on all sides butt the tiles together cleanly across the whole floor, giving you a flat surface with no raised lips to trip on.
What sells me on these is the 933 kg per cubic metre density: that recycled rubber sits dead flat under a rack and swallows the clang of dropped plates without shifting.
At 15mm they handle deadlifts and rig work, not repeated bumper drops from overhead; for that, add a dedicated drop zone. The bevelled edges butt tightly, so the floor stays trip-free.

These tiles give you a full 16 m² of commercial-grade rubber flooring at 15mm thick, enough to lay out a complete home or garage gym in one order.
At roughly 14 kg per tile, each one stays put under heavy equipment without a fixed installation.
What this means for you: One pack covers a 4m x 4m training area.
The 15mm of solid rubber sits between your dumbbells, racks and the slab underneath, cushioning impact when a loaded bar or kettlebell comes down.
In my experience fitting out training spaces, 15mm is the thickness I look for once people start deadlifting or dropping weights.
What this means for you: A dense, thick layer that handles daily loading from racks, benches and free weights.
Each tile is fire-tested to EN ISO 9239-1:2010, the standard that measures how flooring responds to a radiant heat source.
For a commercial fit-out, that certification is one of the first things an operator or fitter checks.
What this means for you: Useful if you need documented flooring specs for a gym, studio or workplace space.
These tiles are made entirely from recycled rubber granules, so a hard-wearing training floor comes from material that would otherwise go to waste.
The high density means the recycled content doesn't cost you durability underfoot.
What this means for you: A hard-wearing floor made from recycled rubber.
One pack of 16 tiles covers 16 m², enough for a full garage gym zone or a dedicated lifting area without ordering multiple lots.
Because each tile is about 1m x 1m, working out how many packs you need is simple: measure your space in square metres. Sizes are approximate, as the rubber can shrink 1 to 3% during curing, which is normal for moulded rubber.
What this means for you: Easy to plan: one pack per 16 m² of floor you want to cover.
Every tile is bevelled on all sides, so the edges meet flush and sit flat against each other across the whole floor.
That clean join reduces the lip you'd otherwise catch a foot or a trolley wheel on.
What this means for you: Tiles butt together neatly for a tidy, level finish across the room.
These tiles are suitable both indoors and outdoors, so you can run the same floor from a garage gym out onto a patio or shaded deck training area.
The recycled rubber handles the move outside without needing a different product for each zone.
What this means for you: One flooring choice works for both your garage and an outdoor training spot.
At around 14 kg each, these tiles hold their position under equipment and foot traffic without glue or fixings for most layouts.
That weight comes from the 933 kg/m³ density, which is what keeps the surface firm underfoot during lifts.
What this means for you: Heavy enough to lay down and train on, with the option to lift and relocate later.
The tiles come with a 12-month warranty, and we handle any claim here in Australia.

The pack of 16 tiles ships by freight as one heavy carton; Lifespan lists the gross shipping weight at 222.4 kg, with each tile about 14 kg. Have a second person on hand to help move the tiles inside. Check the pack against your order before you sign, and keep the packaging intact until you've confirmed everything's there.
Take photos before unpacking and email them to support@cardioonline.com.au within 48 hours of delivery. We'll lodge the freight claim, organise replacement tiles, and stay across it until your floor is complete. You don't deal with the courier directly, that's our job to sort out.
Each tile is 1m x 1m, so the pack of 16 gives you 16 m² of coverage. That's a tidy 4m x 4m space, enough for a squat rack, a bench and a lifting zone with room to move. Sizes are approximate (the rubber can shrink 1 to 3% in curing), so measure your room first and order extra packs if you need to run wall-to-wall, since the bevelled edges let tiles sit flush beside each other.
No glue, no tools, no fixing. These are a loose-lay tile, so you just position them edge to edge across a clean, flat floor and the weight holds them in place. At roughly 14 kg each they stay where you put them. One person can lay them, though a second pair of hands makes a 16 m² floor quicker.
The bevelled edge on all four sides gives you a gentle angled finish wherever a tile meets open floor, so there's no square lip to trip over or catch a trolley wheel. Where tiles meet each other, the bevels sit together for a near-flush join. It's a small detail that makes the perimeter of your gym floor safer and cleaner looking.
For a commercial setting this is a serious floor. At 15mm thick with a 933 kg/m³ density, these recycled rubber tiles handle rack feet, loaded barbells and foot traffic. They dampen noise and protect the subfloor from drops. If you're doing repeated heavy Olympic dropping, I'd add dedicated drop pads over the top in that one zone.
Yes. These are rated for indoor and outdoor use, so they suit a garage gym, a covered patio training area or a commercial fit-out. The recycled rubber copes with the elements, though for a fully exposed outdoor area I'd lay them over a flat, draining surface so water doesn't pool underneath. Inside, any clean level floor works fine.
These CORTEX tiles come with a 12 month warranty, handled by us here in Australia. If something isn't right, you contact us directly and we sort it. For a commercial-grade recycled rubber floor laid and used as intended, that covers you against manufacturing faults well beyond the settling-in period.
