If you train squats, presses and pulls in a single-car garage, the CORTEX PR-4 holds 220 kg on the J-hooks and 200 kg on the safety spotters, then folds down to 66 cm wide when you need the floor back. The 18 height settings suit lifters up to 200 cm tall.
It suits a home lifter who wants a full rack plus cable work in one footprint, with a lat bar, low row bar and landmine holder included and six holders for plate storage. The 14-gauge tubular steel frame takes 6ft standard and 7ft Olympic barbells, so it grows with your loading.
What sells this to me is the folded footprint: at 66 cm wide it tucks against a wall, so a full rack with lat and row work lives in a single-car garage.
At 226.6 cm tall it needs a near-full garage ceiling, so measure first. The real strength is versatility: J-hooks, pulleys, landmine and plate storage in one frame earns its space.

The PR-4 combines a squat rack, pull-up bar, cable pulley system and plate storage in one frame, so you can train legs, back, chest and arms without buying separate stations.
It covers the main compound lifts plus cable work, which suits a home gym where floor space has to do double duty.
What this means for you: One frame handles squats, presses, pull-ups and cable work, so a single footprint covers most of a full-body programme.
The frame folds flat against the wall to free up floor space between sessions, dropping the width from 135 cm down to 66 cm.
That recovered depth is the difference between parking a car in the garage and not.
What this means for you: At 226.6 cm tall it clears a standard 2.4 m ceiling, so check your height before committing to the spot.
The folding mechanism lets you swing the rack out when you train and fold it back afterwards, with the full height staying constant at 226.6 cm whether open or stored.
What this means for you: If you share the space with a car or a workshop, this is the detail that makes a home rack actually workable day to day.
The pulley system runs lat pulldowns and seated rows off the included bars, so you get back and pulling work that a plain squat rack cannot give you.
The cables carry a 2000 lbs tensile strength rating, well beyond the loads a home lifter will ever stack on them.
What this means for you: Pulldowns and rows round out the pushing and squatting work, which is where a lot of home setups fall short.
Six weight disc holders keep your plates on the frame instead of rolling around the floor.
What this means for you: Plates stay on the frame and to hand, so the floor around the rack stays clear.
The frame accepts optional add-on attachments, so you can extend what the rack does as your training changes without replacing the whole unit.
What this means for you: You can start with the included kit and add to it later, so the rack grows with the lifter rather than boxing you in.
The rack takes both 25 mm Standard and 50 mm Olympic plates, and accepts 6ft Standard or 7ft Olympic barbells, so your existing kit most likely fits.
What this means for you: Whatever bar and plates you already own, you most likely won't need to re-buy a set to use this rack.

Effort: a two-person job, 8 assembly steps in the manual. Tools: a wrench or hex key (bolts and fixings are included).
Assembled, the PR-4 stands 226.6 cm tall, so you need at least 2.3 metres of clearance. A standard Australian ceiling is around 2.4 metres, which leaves roughly 13 cm above the frame. Measure your actual height before you build, especially in garages with sloped or beamed ceilings where clearance drops.
The J-hooks are rated to 220 kg and the safety spotters to 200 kg, so the rack grows with most lifters. The frame is 2 mm, 14-gauge tubular steel. For reference, that capacity covers almost every home lifter I coach, including strong, experienced ones pushing serious loads.
The PR-4 comes with a lat bar, low row bar and landmine holder, and the cables carry a 2000 lbs tensile rating. That means lat pulldowns, seated rows and landmine presses alongside your squats and bench. It turns a squat rack into a near-complete training station, which is where this one earns its keep for a home gym.
Assembled, it measures 195 cm long (with the dip attachment), 135 cm wide (to the safety bars) and 226.6 cm high. The foldable design brings it to 164 cm by 66 cm when folded, so you can reclaim floor space between sessions. Handy if the rack shares a garage with a car. Just confirm the 226.6 cm height works in your room either way.
It suits home lifters up to 200 cm tall who want squats, bench and cable work in one footprint. It takes both 6ft Standard and 7ft Olympic barbells, plus 25 mm Standard and 50 mm Olympic plates, so it works with gear you already own. Eighteen height settings cover everyone from beginners to experienced lifters.
It's a two-person job with 8 steps in the manual. You'll need a wrench or hex key; the bolts and fixings are included in the box. Keep the hardware sorted by step, and have a second person on hand for lining up the uprights. The manual doesn't quote a time, so I won't guess one.
Take photos before you start assembly and email them to support@cardioonline.com.au within 48 hours of delivery. We'll lodge the freight claim, send replacement parts or a full unit, and stay across it until you're training. You won't deal with the courier or the manufacturer directly, that's our job to sort out for you.
