Lifespan Fitness Boost 2 Treadmill

If you run 5 or more days a week and want incline work at home, the Boost 2 runs from 1.0 to 18 km/h with 15 automatic incline levels and a 2.75 CHP brushless motor that stays quiet under load. Its DuraGrip belt gives a 1300 by 480 mm running area and the frame handles users up to 150 kg.

It suits a committed runner who trains with structure: Bluetooth pairing links to Fitlink, Kinomaps and Zwift, and the HydraAssist folding system drops the footprint to 107 cm long so you reclaim floor space between sessions. Backed by a 5 year motor and frame warranty and shipped 90% pre-assembled for a 30 to 45 minute build.

Lifespan Fitness Boost 2 treadmill with LED display and incline deck in a clean home gym setting

Is this treadmill right for you?

This treadmill is right for you if:

  • You run 3 to 5 days a week and want headroom up to 18 km/h
  • You train up to 150 kg or share the machine with a heavier user
  • You do hill work and want 15 automatic incline levels
  • You stream sessions through Zwift, Kinomaps or Fitlink over Bluetooth

Look at another option if:

  • You only walk 20 to 30 minutes a day and never run, a simpler walking treadmill covers that
  • You weigh over 150 kg or want more than 18 km/h for sprint intervals
  • You're on a tighter budget and train occasionally rather than most weeks
  • You want a wider belt than 480 mm for a very long stride at full sprint
Adela Ledvinkova, Our In-House Fitness Coach

Adela's Take

What sells me on the Boost 2 is the brushless motor: no brushes to wear out, quiet under load, and backed by a 5 year motor warranty. That's rare for a folding home treadmill.

The 480 mm belt runs tight for tall sprinters, so it suits walkers and joggers best. Bluetooth pairing with Zwift and Kinomaps is the standout, keeping longer sessions genuinely interesting.

DuraGrip AS Running Belt, 1300 x 480 mm

The 480 mm belt width gives you room to swing your arms naturally without clipping the rails, and the 1300 mm length suits walking and steady jogging.

For most runners under about 180 cm, this footprint keeps your stride comfortable at everyday speeds.

  • Running area: 1300 mm x 480 mm
  • DuraGrip AS belt surface
  • Speed range: 1.0 to 18 km/h
  • Max user weight: 150 kg

What this means for you: If you're taller than 185 cm and sprinting regularly, you'll feel the belt length; for walkers and joggers it's comfortable.

Lifespan Fitness Boost 2 Treadmill Spacious Running Area for Comfort feature

ShockControl Advanced Cushioning System

The cushioning takes the edge off each footstrike so your session feels firmer and more supportive underfoot rather than pounding on a hard floor.

In practice, that means your legs feel fresher after a longer walk or steady jog.

  • ShockControl Advanced Cushioning under the deck
  • Supports users up to 150 kg
  • Paired with the 1300 x 480 mm running surface

What this means for you: It's supportive rather than pillowy, which I prefer for consistent daily training.

Lifespan Fitness Boost 2 Treadmill Advanced ShockControl™ Cushioning System feature

MaxVue LED Display with 180 Degree Viewing

The MaxVue LED screen keeps your speed, incline, time and distance readable from a range of angles, so you can glance down mid-stride without breaking form.

  • MaxVue LED display
  • 180 degree viewing angles
  • Shows speed, incline and workout metrics

What this means for you: The wide viewing angle means the numbers stay clear even when you shift your position on the deck.

Lifespan Fitness Boost 2 Treadmill Easy-to-Use MaxVue LED Display feature

Bluetooth Connectivity with Fitlink, Kinomaps and Zwift

Bluetooth pairs the treadmill with training apps so you can follow guided sessions or virtual routes from your phone or tablet.

App pairing is optional, not essential; the console runs its presets without a phone.

  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • Compatible with Fitlink, Kinomaps, Zwift and more

What this means for you: If virtual routes keep you motivated, the app link makes indoor sessions feel less repetitive.

Lifespan Fitness Boost 2 Treadmill Seamless Bluetooth Connectivity feature

Easy Access Lubrication Port

The lubrication port lets you keep the belt running smoothly without disassembling the deck, so upkeep takes minutes.

Regular belt care is the single biggest thing that extends a treadmill's life.

  • Easy Access Lubrication Port
  • No deck disassembly needed for belt care

What this means for you: Staying on top of lubrication keeps the motor and belt working the way they should.

Lifespan Fitness Boost 2 Treadmill Easy Maintenance feature

2.75 CHP EverDrive H5X Brushless Motor

The brushless design removes the carbon brushes that wear out on cheaper motors, so it runs quieter and lasts longer.

At 2.75 CHP continuous duty, it handles daily walking and jogging without straining.

  • 2.75 CHP EverDrive H5X motor
  • Brushless design, no carbon-brush wear
  • Speed range: 1.0 to 18 km/h
  • 5 year motor warranty

What this means for you: For walkers and regular joggers, this motor has the headroom to run session after session without labouring.

Lifespan Fitness Boost 2 Treadmill 2.75 CHP EverDrive® H5X Brushless Motor feature

15 Levels of Automatic Incline

Fifteen motorised incline levels let you add gradient at the touch of a button, so you can build intensity without lifting your speed.

Adjusting on the fly means you can mimic hills during a session and work harder in the same space.

  • 15 automatic incline levels
  • Motorised adjustment via the console

What this means for you: Incline walking is one of the easiest ways to raise effort while keeping impact low.

Lifespan Fitness Boost 2 Treadmill 15 Levels of Automatic Incline feature

90% Pre-Assembled Out of the Box

The treadmill arrives 90% pre-assembled, so a first build is a one-person job of roughly 30 to 45 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How loud is it at running pace?

The EverDrive H5X brushless motor is the quiet part of this treadmill. Brushless motors run smoother and quieter than brushed ones, so the console and TV stay easy to hear. Most of the noise you'll notice is your own footstrike. Pop a 6 mm rubber mat under the deck and you'll cut most of that transfer to rooms below.

Will the running belt suit taller runners?

The running area is 1300 mm long by 480 mm wide, which suits walkers and joggers comfortably. If you're over about 185 cm and running fast at the top speed of 18 km/h, that length starts to feel tight on your stride. For steady jogging and interval work at any height, it's fine. Sprinters with a long gait will want more deck.

How long does the motor warranty last?

You get 5 years on the motor and frame, plus 12 months on parts. A 5-year motor cover on a brushless motor tells you the brand expects it to keep running well past that. All warranties are Australian and handled by us, so if anything goes wrong you deal with our team, not an overseas manufacturer.

How much space does it need, and does it fold away?

Assembled, it's 161 cm long, 77 cm wide and 140 cm high. The HydraAssist folding system brings the length down to 107 cm when folded, and transport wheels let you roll it out of the way. At 140 cm tall it clears any standard ceiling easily, folded or not. Give yourself clear space behind for your running stride.

Who is this treadmill built for?

It handles users up to 150 kg and covers 1.0 to 18 km/h with 15 automatic incline levels. That range suits walkers, joggers and most home runners who want incline training and preset programs. If you run daily at pace over long distances, look at a model with a longer deck. For everyday home cardio, this covers it well.

How long does assembly take and what tools do I need?

It arrives 90% pre-assembled, so it's a one-person job taking around 30 to 45 minutes for a first build. You'll need a phillips screwdriver, an allen/hex key and a spanner or wrench. All bolts and fixings are included in the box. Most of the work is attaching the uprights and console, then plugging in and running the startup checks.

Do I need a phone or app to use it?

No. The MaxVue LED display runs the Quick Touch preset programs, speed and incline on its own, no phone required. If you want more, it pairs over Bluetooth with Fitlink, Kinomaps, Zwift and others for guided runs and virtual routes. The app side is a bonus, not a requirement, so you can train straight out of the box.

What if it arrives damaged or a part is missing?

Take photos before you start assembly and email them to support@cardioonline.com.au within 48 hours of delivery. We'll lodge the freight claim, organise replacement parts or a full unit, and stay on it until you're up and running. You won't deal with the courier or manufacturer directly, that part is ours to sort.

Good Treadmill for its price.

I purchased my Boost-R Treadmill back in 2021 and to date, I am totally satisfied with this product. I use it regularly and it does what I need it to do. I've had to lubricate the belt/deck/roller a few times already but so far, so good.

Fantastic Treadmill

I needed to replace my older treadmill which I had for over 18years and performed very well. I looked everywhere for a replacement in stores but everything I saw looked cheap to me and I was not happy with the features. Not to mention the prices were insane! I looked online and found multiple reviews which were positive for the Boost-R and liked the specs and images I could see. The treadmill was delivered in a very timely manner and install took next to no time. Such a great piece of equipment and I already prefer it over my old faithful treadmill. Such a great experience, excellent value and quality. I could not be happier.

Awesome machine

We bought this product last month and loved it . As described easy to install, Bluetooth connectivity, good programs and easy to use. Great for bigger people like myself, I would highly recommend and not too pricey too.

Thrilled

I searched online for ages for the right home treadmill - reasonably priced, compact, and with basic features such as a range of speeds and inclines, handles and cup holders. I struggled to find quite the right thing as most I could find in the price range never had all of these things (which seemed pretty basic to me) until I found the Boost R. Its a compact treadmill with a narrower belt than Im used to (used to have a much bigger treadmill at home) but I got used to that quickly. Its smooth and quiet, straight out of the box - no adjusting of the belt necessary. So easy to assemble as well, I did it by myself (you only need to do up a few bolts, it comes 90% assembled). Its also easy to move around, although giving the gas strut a kick to get it to fold down is a bit weird and Im still getting used to that. But this treadmill is absolutely fantastic in so many ways (value, assembly, functionality, noise, operation) and Im thrilled with it!

Love it!

Very happy with the treadmill. Works perfectly and almost just as good as the ones at gyms. It's just the right size for my room, love the features, very stable.

Love this!

I have only recently received this product but so far its amazing! Feels like Im running on a cloud, the shock absorption is great and the treadmill is very quiet compared to others Ive used. The screen and speakers are great quality for playing music. Best purchase Ive made in a long time.

Good but not great for all users

I have had this treadmill for a few months now and it is working well although the belt tends to drift. This is easy enough to rectify quickly and I wouldn't say it is a problem. In comparison to a commercial treadmill 2km per hour seems slower, not sure how I can check the speed. I would recommend trying it out at a retailer before you buy to make sure it suits you. Although I use it and it is fit for purpose, I obviously have long legs and short arms because I cannot put my hands on the pulse sensors without having to hunch over. The positioning of the console for me could be 50mm higher and a little further back so that I don't hit your feet on the protection plate. I have tried better treadmills but this is a personal opinion, it might be really great for some. Plenty of programs, easy to use console and the bluetooth feature works really well with a good speaker.

Great compact treadmill with great features

Great compact treadmill! Easy to use and connect with Fitlink. Programs are excellent and shock absorption is fantastic. Nice and quiet and was easy to assemble. Only things i don't really like: The screen and heart rate calculators are standing upright, they need to be on a bit more of lean so you can use them without feeling like your going to trip over. Also don't love that you have to hold down the green button to ease into a stop. All in all though i am happy with my purchase

Exceptional Home Treadmill

We purchased this a month ago and are absolutely loving it so far! Easy to use, sturdy, great workout options. The speed options are excellent, you can really push yourself and improve your fitness. We did a lot of research prior to purchasing and are so happy with our selection, highly recommend.

If anything in my gym is worth my money, it is this amazing treadmill. It was recommended by a friend and I would say it is one of the best treadmills Ive ever had. Very sturdy and robust, and easy to haul around with its transport wheels. It has been really helpful in achieving the fitness goals, not only for me but also for my family members

E
Elvis216 (Melbourne, AU)

I think it is best treadmill Ive had so far. From the shock control to a beautiful colored LCD, I love everything about it. Keeps my workout interesting when you can put your ipad there no problems. I recommend this to everyone looking for a good treddy.

N

Very good treadmill. I use it at 12.0 speed and it has no problem with it. It makes not too much noisy when you are running. I am happy with this product and definitely will buy sth more at your shop. Also staff in Lifespan are very friendly. After I order online this treadmill, they call someone to set up this treadmill for me. I got no sweat on it. You guys are the best

W
Wade (Melbourne, AU)

I tried so many treadmills over the years but couldnt find anything that would have all that I needed but this has all a treadmill must-have. It is long-lasting and secure, has comfortable padding, a modern look, and gadgets, etc. Does have some flaws like not being able to connect to iPhone/Apple play but still the best so far.

A
Amor56

I was a bit hesitant to buy it earlier (preferred testing it out first) but with the use of it, I don't think I would've found anything better than this. It helped me a lot in obtaining a healthy workout routine. As someone with a heart condition, this treddy never skips a beat and keeps me happy and healthy.

A
Amore52 (Sydney, AU)

Its speed and incline controls give me the ability to work at a pace that suits me, and with the high-quality speakers and book/iPad stand, it's turned my boring workout routine into a fun, productive one. No more being lazy when it comes to my fitness. Now I can entertain myself while looking after my health!

J

I had never enjoyed working out so much as I did with this amazing treadmill. I simply connect my favorite tracks through Bluetooth at the start of my running and I sometimes lost track of my workout time. It really helps me stick longer to the treadmill and achieve my fitness goals.

J

Couldnt have any better treadmill. It has all the features one could expect. It is the perfect advanced-level treadmill. What works well for me was the advanced shock control cushioning. It not only helped me stay confident during my run but also I dont get shin splints and sore ankles after a long run.

P
Parker (Canberra, AU)

After doing some research and being a Choice member, this treadmill caught my eye. I can tell why it was recommended by choice, its well built and well designed. Colour screen really puts the other models Ive tested to shame, and at the same or cheaper price. The cushioning feels good and incline is very easy to operate. Folds up nicely as well.

S
Shayla H. (Sunshine Coast, AU)

Just like the gym ones. Very good features. Only complaint is the controls like the programs you have to press multiple times to hit the right program. Other than that, very happy.

A
Andy S. (Perth, AU)

Overall, I believe it's good treadmill with great screen and programs. It'd be great though if there is a Bluetooth feature such that the speakers good sound can be better use.

A sturdy treadmill, so far so good. I've had it for just over two months and use it in the mornings for 20 minutes to start my day.
