Talk to a squat rack specialist| Weight Capacity (J-Hooks) | 220 kg |
| Assembled Dimensions | 195cm (with dip attachment) x 135cm (to safety bars) x 226.6cm (L x W x H) |
| Frame | 2mm, 14-gauge tubular steel |
| Warranty | 12 months parts replacement |
If you train alone and want to squat, bench and pull in a footprint that disappears between sessions, the CORTEX PR4 package folds back to just 66 cm wide against the wall. The 14-gauge steel rack holds 220 kg on the J-hooks and 200 kg on the safety spotters, so it carries a serious working load.
It suits a garage or spare-room setup that needs to do everything, bundling a 90 kg tri-grip plate and bar set plus lat bar, low row, landmine, dip handles and band pegs. One order gives you a rack, a cable station and the weights to start lifting on day one.
The trade-off to know up front: the included set uses 25mm standard plates and bars, with 75 kg of plates topping out at 10 kg each, so stronger lifters will add plates sooner than they think. The cable pulley is rated to 100 kg.
What gets me about this package is the fold-flat design: 226.6cm tall when built, but it drops to 66cm wide against a wall, so a garage gym doubles as a car space again.
One thing to plan for: the 90kg set runs to 10kg plates, so once you're squatting past bodyweight you'll want to add heavier plates. The 220kg J-hook rating leaves plenty of room to grow.

This package pairs the PR4 folding power rack with a 90kg weight and bar set and five attachments, so you can squat, press, pull up, row and curl from day one.
Nothing to source separately before your first session.
What this means for you: One delivery gives you a complete pushing, pulling and lower-body training station.
The rack folds back against the wall when you are not using it, dropping the footprint from 135cm to 66cm wide.
That reclaims the floor space for a car or shared garage between sessions.
What this means for you: Confirm your ceiling clears 227cm, since this frame is taller than many home racks.
Assembly is a two-person job that runs across 8 steps in the manual, using a spanner or wrench, or an Allen key.
All bolts and fixings come in the box, so there is no hardware run to the shops.
What this means for you: Have a second pair of hands for lifting the uprights into place, and work through the steps in order.
The integrated cable pulley runs a Lat Bar and Low Row Bar, so you can train lat pulldowns and seated rows without a separate machine.
The cables carry a 2000 lbs tensile rating.
What this means for you: You get vertical and horizontal pulling in the same frame as your squats and presses.
Six storage posts hold your plates on the rack itself, keeping the floor clear and the plates within reach while you load the bar.
What this means for you: Loading and racking is quicker when every plate has a home on the frame.
The PR4 frame accepts an optional jammer arm attachment, so you can add pressing and pushing variations later without replacing the rack.
Buy the base package now and grow the station as your training changes.
What this means for you: The rack is a starting point you can build on, not a fixed set-up you outgrow.
The bar sleeves and storage posts fit both 25mm standard and 50mm Olympic plates, so you are not locked into one plate standard.
It also fits most 6ft standard and all 7ft Olympic barbells.
What this means for you: If you already own plates or upgrade to Olympic later, they will fit.
Eighteen height settings let you set the J-hooks and safeties to your exact squat and press heights.
The J-hooks hold 220 kg and the safety spotters catch 200 kg.
What this means for you: You can train to failure on heavy squats knowing the spotters will catch the bar.
The frame is built from 2mm, 14-gauge tubular steel and ships with five attachments already in the box.
A 12 month parts replacement warranty backs the package.
What this means for you: The 14-gauge steel and 200kg capacities handle serious loading for a folding rack.

Effort: a two-person job, 8 assembly steps in the manual. Tools: a spanner / wrench or Allen key (bolts and fixings are included).
At 226.6cm tall, the PR4 clears a standard 2.4m (240cm) Australian ceiling with room to spare. Measure your actual ceiling height before you commit, especially in garages with exposed joists or sloped roofs. The footprint assembled is 195cm x 135cm, so leave space to walk around it and load plates on both sides.
Yes. Folded, the rack drops to 66cm wide (from 135cm), so it tucks closer to a wall and frees up floor space between sessions. The height stays at 226.6cm, since it folds in rather than down. Handy if the rack shares a garage with a car or other gear.
The set gives you 75kg of Tri-Grip plates plus a 6ft standard barbell, a curl bar and dumbbell handles. That's a solid start for most lifters building strength at home. Stronger squatters and deadlifters will outgrow it, but the six storage posts take extra 25mm or 50mm plates when you're ready to add load.
The cable pulley is rated to 100kg, with the Lat Bar and Low Row Bar included in the package. That covers lat pulldowns, seated rows and cable work for the vast majority of home lifters. The J-hooks take 220kg and the safety spotters 200kg, so the barbell side carries far more than the pulley.
It suits home lifters up to 200cm tall who want one station to squat, press, pull and do cable work. With 18 height settings, Lat Bar, Low Row, Landmine Holder, Dip Handles and Band Pegs included, it's a full set-up for someone training seriously at home rather than a minimalist squat stand.
It's a two-person job with 8 steps in the manual. You'll need a spanner or wrench, or an Allen key, and all bolts and fixings come in the box. Keep the hardware sorted by step, and have your second person ready for lifting the uprights and crossmembers into place. No manual time is quoted, so plan generously.
