Good system. Only issue I have is the cables. They aint designed for everyday use. My cables split and messed up in the first 6mths. The cables if snapped can cause major injury. Other than that is a very functional system. Definite end to purchase additional weights if your a heavy lifter as well.
The Cortex SM 20 is a definite must have for any garage gym. Easy to put together and great quality. It fits neatly into a small area yet boast the best workout ever. Worth every cent!!
Great piece of equiptment, smith machine is smooth and only took about a day to assemble. Only issues are the cables feel a little bit stiff when using, and i am unsure why the weight stack is in pounds, not kg. Other than that, good rack to have.
Bought this last week and just put it together after a few days. Could start building alone but eventually you need another person. Build quality is what you'd expect for the low price but I am satisfied with it. Unexpectedly, the delivered parts inside the box gave me 2 left side Smith safety racks so only one side has a safety bar attached to the frame. Also the attachment to put on the landmine came broken as you can see where the welding gave way for it to split. Quite disappointed to see that not one but two parts were wrong/ faulty despite being in the box and sealed on delivery. I will be calling to see what can be done for the faulty parts
We love our new power cage - we had excellent service and after service. It was quite easy to put together, although took about 5 hours by slow assemblers- my son is using it, not me!
I have had the Cortex SM-20 for 3 months now and I love it! Initially, I thought it was going to be a huge pain to put together. However, it was pretty easy with a second person. The Smith machine is smooth and works great for all sorts of workouts as well as the cables. The only thing on this machine I think that may not stand the test of time is the pull up bars as they are only held on with 2x 10mm bolts and have a very slight flex when doing pull ups. But overall the machine is fantastic ??
Pretty well made machine. Reasonably easy to put together if you have those sort of skills. Very Happy with the quality considering the low price.

Literally replaces the gym! This is the best all in one gym set I've ever had. Takes a little while to set up, but is a great set. I can do any and all weight based exercises I could think of.
I purchased this rack a few weeks ago and I am very happy with it. The instructions were well written and had it together in a couple of days. The smith and cable machine will enable me to work out easily adjusting my weight from light to heavy as I progress. It does not require a spotter so I can lift weights safely by myself so I can train when I like and without going to a gym. It is a very heavy stable unit, I put it together myself, but if you are not experienced in assembling, I would recommend getting help to assemble the unit. I would also recommend the unit go into a garage and not into the house as it would have to be unassembled to remove from the house if it was required. Great weight training with this unit.

Bought this 3-4 weeks ago and wrote a previous review named "Monique". All issues have been resolved and the machine is not 100% functional. Overall, this product is a bang for your buck and works like a treat. Best part in my opinion is the design of the cable that attaches on the rack. It allows you to take it off and lock back on instead of conventional sliding design, which means it does not get stuck. Smith is super smooth and the cables run well and stay in the groove. I would buy this product again despite previous issues, the machine is just that great
I received this around 3-4 weeks ago and wrote a previous review. All issues have now been solved in a timely and stress-free manner with staff. The machine is now 100% built and functional. It is overall a fantastic machine for the low cost. As expected, the cables do twist when setting up but after straightening them out, they work well and stay on the grooves at all times. This is a really good all-in-one must have for a home gym. The cable height adjustment is more comfortable than conventional sliding ones, this one allows you to take it off completely and set it in. The smith runs super smooth and all attachments work well. I would buy again despite previous issues as the machine is awesome

Bought this Machine a month ago but have only just gotten the ability to use it, Feel like the 100kg weight stack is a mis-direct, because of the mechanical advantage provided by the pulley system, if you only use 1 side of the rig at a time, you are only lifting 50% of the weight, so fully loaded at 100kg is only putting 50kg strain on each side of the rig
Not a bad unit for the price but as with most things the quality is what you would expect for this price point. The 16-gauge (1.6mm) thick frame is ~50% the thickness of most comparable units (3mm) and you can feel the difference during assembly and use. Be careful not to overtighten (which is tempting when plates do not mate up correctly) or you may buckle the square hollow section. Despite installing level and checking squareness for each piece prior to tightening, the smith machine guide bars are not square and therefore the bar does not return level on the rack. Whilst not a show stopper (but perhaps some feedback) the smith bar does not have the stop to prevent excess bar rotation when unracking like most machines, which could be improved with a simple welded tab. After driving ~1.5 hours each way to pickup, the boxes were missing a part to finish installing the cable system, which has since been shipped standard post (you'd think they'd offer express given the small part size and initial omission) so have not setup the cables yet. However, based on the showroom demo model the cable system is definitely not as smooth as other machines out there. In hindsight and after using with weights I would have rather paid double-triple for a better more durable unit (most come with lifetime frame warranty and 2 years on attachments) with better quality attachments, however for the price it will do the job for as long as it lasts.
Average rack the steel quality is not as solid as you expect but it will do the job for someone who doesn't want to pay too much. Set-up instructions are terrible and there is no marking done on the equipment for easy assembly.
Great machine for the price. Got pretty much everything u need. Instructions are very poor. Unless u good at building things like this I beleive u would struggle to build it. Wouldnt have hurt to put 4 more bolts in the kit and make it so u bolt down all 4 poles at the top and bottom not just the top. Would 100% make it feel even better. Little wider and taller wouldnt hurt either but for me does work just. Think again if ur tall. Would love a 4th and 5th weight racking bar and a second barbell holder. Nothing bad just my thoughts to better it.
