The addition of transport wheels welded to the frame make transporting the F80 a simple and easy task.
Sole's folding treadmill frame design for the F80 originated from the demand of hotels for a treadmill as mobile as a room service cart, yet still stable and powerful. So whether it's a hotel room or your living room, you have the best of both worlds.
Users want to have the freedom of increasing speed and incline quickly, the display features quick speed/incline buttons along the sides of the LCD making it extremely convenient and easy to control and maintain your workout.
A unique design to any type of treadmill on the market, this deck provides our users with a comfortable and quiet workout as well as reducing impact of up to 40%.
Accurate and precise welding is important when designing a treadmill. High quality precision welding ensures the machine can endure constant impact and forces of the user step after step and mile after mile for the life of the treadmill.
Durability of a product begins with a strong frame, capable of handling multiple users of various weights and heights.
All Sole treadmills feature epoxy powder coated paint, baked to appliance finish durability. This finish protects the all-steel construction, along with welded steel frame that is virtually indestructible.
Sole are so confident in the quality of their treadmills, they've included a class-leading lifetime warranty with the F80.

Sole now allows users the freedom to transfer workout data via Bluetooth, from their Sole fitness equipment to their smart device.
Users can download and track their info on the Sole app for free, or have their fitness data be transferred to any of the following fitness apps (Fitbit, Record, Mapmyrun, Apple Health).
All Sole treadmills feature the heaviest duty chassis and motors in their class. Beginning with powder coated all-steel welded frames and heavy duty stable inclines, Sole added industrial quality motors with large diameter, all-steel zinc coated balanced flywheels to the F80 treadmill for a vibration-free secure running/walking surface.
Why does Sole add a flywheel to the F80 motor?
Flywheels cause the motor to run cooler with less amp draw and extend the life off the motor. They also allow the F80 to offer a start speed of 0.5 kph. Sole also uses much heavier flywheels than its competitors which give you the fluid motion you’re accustomed to at the gym or on treadmill costing thousands more.
When Sole chose the rollers for the F80 treadmill they went with only the best and outfitted all F80 and F85 treadmills with the same high-end rollers that most people only offer on commercial treadmills.
Sole use large rollers with a sealed bearing design and copper ground wires for each roller to reduce static.
Larger rollers make for a larger contact surface against the belt and longer roller and belt life. This makes for smooth, quiet, static free motion that will stand the test of time.
Sole use double woven 2-ply belts with four layers on almost all of our treadmills. Two rubber layers over a middle PVC layer with a nylon backing that rolls over the deck and rollers.
The rubber provides the durability, the PVC stops the belt from over-stretching and the nylon provides a smooth static free surface to glide over the deck and rollers.
Awesome customer service. My treadmill is a few years old and has needed some maintenance due to frequent use. Sole service department has always been professional and expeditious at getting me the parts Ive needed!
So far so good. My Smooth Fitness treadmill died after twenty years of daily use. Since Smooth is out of business I read all the reviews and settled on the Sole F80. First off, the treadmill is very heavy. My workout room is in the basement so getting it in was not a challenge. However, putting it together using the manual was the true challenge. I never could figure out where the "lower handlebar covers" went since there are no lower handle bars. I went to an assembly video on YouTube which made the assembly a breeze. The lower handle bar assembly was not in the video. It turns out that they cover the cables which will remain forever uncovered since to install them I would have to disassemble the treadmill. I have used it for one month and I like it. The sole has more features than the Smooth (bluetooth, cooling fans and speakers) and has more cushioning which takes some getting used to. I like the User functions which allow you to make your own program since I never use the built in programs. I can't quite figure out if it has a countdown feature which is what I prefer to the count up timer. All in all I am pleased and will be ecstatic if it lasts as long as the Smooth.
