Talk to a exercise bike specialist| Resistance | 32 levels of computerised magnetic tension (Variable Automatic Resistance) |
| Flywheel | 7 kg commercial grade magnetic |
| Workout Programs | 12 built-in programs |
| Max User Weight | 180 kg |
| Drive System | Belt drivetrain |
If you train hard at home and want a bike that stays steady through intervals, the EXC-100 runs on a 7 kg magnetic flywheel with 32 resistance levels you dial in from the LCD console. The commercial steel frame supports users up to 180 kg and 200 cm, so bigger riders get a stable, planted ride.
It suits serious daily cyclists who want precise, repeatable resistance for structured sessions, with the belt drivetrain keeping each pedal stroke quiet and smooth. The seat adjusts both up/down and fore/aft, and 12 built-in programs run straight from the console without a phone.
What stands out is the automatic resistance: 32 computerised magnetic levels mean the console drives the tension through each of the 12 programs, so you hold a target effort without reaching down to twist a knob.
The 7 kg flywheel suits steady, seated cardio more than out-of-the-saddle sprints. Where it earns its keep is fit: the 83 to 110 cm seat range and 180 kg capacity genuinely cover a whole household.

The computerised magnetic tension steps through 32 levels, so you can shift from an easy warm-up spin to a leg-burning climb at the press of a button.
Because the resistance is controlled electronically, the jump between levels stays consistent every ride.
What this means for you: You get fine control over intensity, which matters when you're training to a specific heart rate or watts target.
The 7 kg flywheel carries momentum through each pedal stroke, which smooths out the dead spot at the top and bottom of the rotation.
In practice, heavier flywheels feel less jerky at steady cadence.
What this means for you: The weighted flywheel gives you a steadier, more road-like feel at a consistent pedalling speed.
The LCD console tracks the numbers that actually guide a session: time, speed, distance, calories, RPM, pulse, watts and a program chart.
Watts and RPM are the two I watch most when coaching, since they tell you how hard you're really working.
What this means for you: Having watts on screen lets you hold a steady output instead of guessing by feel.
The saddle moves both up and down and fore and aft, so you can set your leg extension and reach to the handlebars correctly.
Getting the seat right is the single thing most riders skip, and it's what makes long rides comfortable.
What this means for you: That adjustment range suits taller riders up to around 200 cm, which many home bikes can't manage.
The commercial grade tubular steel frame is built to stay planted through hard, repeated sessions rather than flex under load.
A 49 kg net weight tells you where that steel went.
What this means for you: The 180 kg user rating gives a wide safety margin, which is what you want in a bike that gets daily use.
The extra large sports saddle gives you more surface to sit on, which is the difference between finishing a 45-minute ride and cutting it short.
Saddle comfort is the most common reason people stop riding at home, so this one matters.
What this means for you: A broader saddle makes longer steady-state sessions easier to stay on top of.
The belt drivetrain runs quietly, so you can ride while someone else is watching TV in the same room or sleeping nearby.
Belt drives also skip the periodic tensioning that chain systems need.
What this means for you: Low running noise is what makes a bike one you actually use in an apartment or open-plan home.
The built-in stand holds a tablet or book at eye level, so a long steady ride doesn't have to be boring.
There's also a bottle holder within reach, which sounds minor until you're an hour in.
What this means for you: Propping up a show or a playlist is the simplest trick I know for turning distance into habit.
Standard pedals with adjustable foot straps keep your feet secure through the full stroke, so you can pull up as well as push down.
The straps suit everyday trainers, no cycling shoes required.
What this means for you: Secure straps let you spin faster without your feet slipping off at higher cadence.

Effort: 6 assembly steps in the manual. Tools: an Allen key and a Phillips screwdriver.
It ships Australia-wide by freight to your door, partially assembled in a box. The bike itself weighs 49 kg and the carton about 56 kg (120 x 76 x 38.5 cm). Have someone on hand to help bring the box inside, and clear a flat space ready for assembly.
Take photos before you start assembling and send them to support@cardioonline.com.au within 48 hours of delivery. We lodge the freight claim, organise the replacement parts or a full unit, and stay across it until you're riding. You don't chase the courier or Lifespan Fitness yourself. That's our job, and we own it start to finish.
Not hard at all. The manual has 6 assembly steps: bolt the front and rear stabilisers to the main frame, then fit the pedals, seat, handlebar post, handlebars, bottle holder and console, and plug in the power adapter. The bolts are hex-head and cross-head screws, so have an Allen key and a Phillips screwdriver handy. Take your time with the two rear levelling feet so it sits dead flat and doesn't rock on a hard floor.
It comes with 12 months parts replacement, handled locally by us. If your product page shows the 100 Day Money Back Guarantee badge, you have 100 days to return it as-new, disassembled in the original packaging with all parts. We refund the product price and your original delivery fee, no restocking fee. We book the return freight; you cover that cost.
The assembled footprint is 130 cm long by 63 cm wide, standing 141 cm tall. That fits comfortably in a spare room, garage or a corner of a lounge with a standard ceiling. The manual asks for 2 m cleared around the bike before you train, so allow for that as well as room to mount and adjust. The transport wheels let you roll it aside between sessions.
It handles riders up to 180 kg and a suggested height up to 200 cm, so it covers taller and heavier users that many home bikes can't. The seat adjusts both up/down and fore/aft, with seat height from 83 cm to 110 cm. That range makes it a genuine shared-household machine for riders up to around 2 metres.
The hand pulse sensors in the handlebars give you a ballpark figure, fine for casual sessions and keeping a loose eye on effort. The console has a heart-rate (H.R.C) mode and a constant-watts mode, but for pacing interval work I'd lean on the watts and RPM readouts.
Very quiet. The 7 kg magnetic flywheel paired with a belt drivetrain means there's no chain noise, just a smooth low hum. You can ride early morning without waking the house or drowning out the TV. The 32 computerised resistance levels change tension electronically, so there's no clunk when you step the effort up or down mid-ride.
