About half an hour. Two people are needed once, to lift the deck clear of the carton; everything after that is one person and the tools in the box.
Every ON:PACE treadmill carries an FTMS Bluetooth module. FTMS is an open industry standard, which means the machine talks to apps we have nothing to do with, and will keep talking to ones that do not exist yet.

No account, no subscription and nothing to activate. Programmes, speed and incline are all on the machine. Everything below this is optional, and none of it is needed for the treadmill to be a treadmill.
This is the part people miss. Over Bluetooth FTMS — an open industry standard rather than a connection only we can use — the app sets real speed and real incline. When the route on the screen climbs, the belt under you climbs with it. You are not watching a hill and pressing a button.

Kinomap is an independent app with its own free and paid tiers; the licence we include is the paid one, for twelve months. Nothing on this treadmill requires a subscription to work.

Before a single one was built for sale, one was pushed through numbers no owner will ever reach. It had to come through every one of them.
Not one in a hundred. Every one is put together, switched on and run through by a person before it is packed.
Passing once is not enough. Machines that are built, tested and ready to ship are picked at random, opened up and tested a final time. If one of them fails, the whole group is re-tested — and none of them ship until the problem part is replaced and we are certain of the rest.
Lifetime warranties are common enough that buyers discount them, because everyone knows the word means the maker's own idea of a service life, written down somewhere you will not read. A number you can count is a number you can hold us to.
A major fault in the first two years means a new machine. Not a repair. We ship the replacement as soon as the faulty one is collected, so you are running again while we work out what went wrong at our end. No technician to book in, no wait on a part, nothing for you to fit yourself.

Forty-two centimetres is a walking and light-jogging width. It is enough to walk at any pace and enough to jog without watching your feet. It is not enough to run hard on, and we would rather you read that here than work it out in week three.
A gas strut takes the weight both ways. Folding a treadmill is easy; it is lowering one that hurts, and a deck that drops the last twenty centimetres on its own is how people stop folding it at all — which is how a folding treadmill becomes a permanent one.
No account, no updates, nothing to go stale. It shows you speed, time, distance, incline and pulse, and it will still show you those in ten years. The smart part of this machine is the phone you already own, over Bluetooth.
A 1.25 HP continuous motor is sized for walking and steady jogging, which is what this machine is for. We publish the continuous figure and the peak together because only the continuous one describes what the motor will do all session.
How to read the motor figures: peak is always the larger number, which is why a lot of machines quote only that one. Continuous is what the motor holds for a whole session, so it is the figure to compare. Where we publish one we publish both.

Once it's back with us and checked over, we refund what you paid to the card or account you used. It has to travel in its original carton, so hang on to the box until you're sure.

Read the full termsAlmost certainly. Folded, it's 66.5 cm wide, and most Australian internal doorways are around 82 cm. Measure the narrowest point on the route in — including any turn at the top of a staircase — and remember the carton is a little wider than the machine inside it.
